Default Side pipes and the law?

Hi guy's, I am thinking about fitting dual side pipes and was wondering if any one has recently had a car licensed with a dual working setup.Any one have any recent experience with this?

Had my engineer around the other day and we discussed side pipes at length.
My statement of requirements states:
NO exhaust shall exit on the left hand side. That's pretty much game over......
Then there is....
Any exhaust the exits on the side must extend 40 mm rearward beyond any door opening or any other opening to the occupants
Any exposed exhaust must be completely shielded from where it exits the body to the end of the exhaust , so it is cool enough to touch without burning.
And of course comply with noise and emissions.

Contact your local motor registry in WA. Form my experience they are very helpful over there.

Regulations and requirements for side pipes varies greatly from state to state.

WA is very proactive when it comes to side pipes and you should find you can fit something that meets both your requirements and theirs.

If you can't find someone to contact, I could find a number for you.
