TR 6060 box flywheel clutch etc
If anyone is interested I have a Tremec TR6060 6 speed manual gearbox with shifter flywheel clutch & pressure plate for sale. Looking for $1500 the lot. If anyone is interested let me know. It came out of a VE SS commodore.

Did they put the tr6060 in the ve ss? I thought they only had the late model t56 that has the same case as the tr6060 with remote shifter. That's what I have.

Ashley's box is a 6060 M10, TUET 10310.
"6060 M10 (TUET 10310) – standard fitment for 2009 onwards HSV models and a little later in V8 Commodore models. It was fitted behind HSV 6.2LT LS3 engines and Holden 6.0LT L98 initially and then later 6.0LT L77 engines."
(extract from PACE 427 build manual)
Zedn, if it's in a 6060 case, it is a 6060.

Interesting. I have TUET8381 from the VE SS. It's the one that didn't use a speed sensor on the output shaft like the others. I always thought it was a t56 but it is the tr6060 style case. Is this actually a tr6060?
Rating is 450ftlb
Ratios are
1st = 3.01
2nd = 2.07
3rd = 1.43
4th = 1.00
5th = 0.84
6th = 0.56

Thanks Craig, you are ABSOLUTELY correct.
Craig actually used this gearbox for fitment trials in the PACE 427, which is why he knows about it.
I initially bought it because I have one of these gearboxes in the Rodeo and another one in the Supercar. It was bought as a spare. I bought an MG9 (close ratio) version for the Supercar and put the Supercar one in the Rodeo because I stuffed the synchros in the Rodeo box.
So I still have the spare which is for sale and I also have the one out of the Rodeo with the stuffed synchros.... Which I guess is also for sale should someone want it...
Confusing? Yep

Ben,
Soooooo when I got the tailshaft made for the Rodeo I explained exactly what I had and what it was going into and said I would like a sliding joint.... They said, nah, they don't move much, the rubber donut will take up that movement.
So I took their advice and drove it around for about 20,000k. I noticed a bit of a noise when it was loaded up & I towed the big car trailer to Bathurst & back & everytime it hit a bump it would make this light grinding noise in the back of the gearbox. So basically it was pushing the tailshaft into the back of the gearbox....
I took it out and took it back to them and said I want a sliding joint in it..... At my expense of course. So now it works fine but it 'clicked' into mainly 3rd and 4th. I swapped the gearbox for the one that was in the Supercar (had only done 4,000k) and it is perfect.
It's not broken, I just had a better one to put in so I put it in. Just a little bit annoying when you drive it every day.
