Are you sure the 5.4 will fit the Pace427, I have some info that says it won't. Clarification please.

Russell where did you get your 5.0l Coyote from and how much? if you dont mind me asking?

The 5.4 is a good motor when it comes to ecu's . The motor doesnt run an airflow meter so swapping Cams and fitting a 8 stack is much easier after rego. Just plug in flash tuner and you are done.

Isn't that all you have to do to any engine with (or converted to) a MAF-less tune?

The 8 stack engine shot looks great. Rocker covers look perfect, but I'd really like to see that engine with the alternator relocated to give a more old school look.

Alt would be relocated forsure..but the motor ties in with the something new something old to coin a phrase.....

Default 5.4L Boss Motor

I had to modify a fair bit and shoe horn it in, couldnt drop the motor in with gear box on and so forth but will be worth it once i finish it im sure

No, the 5.4LT will not fit our standard chassis. I'm not saying it could not be fitted, but the bespoke cost of supporting it would make it even less an attractive option.

And I can see no reason to support it with the new generation 5.0LT Coyote only accounting for less than 10% of sales so far. So the 5.4LT would account for even less. The weight and size of the 5.4LT work against the design goals of the PACE 427 as well. The 5.4LT engine was a good option in the past, but I believe the Coyote is now the only modern Ford engine choice that customers would really want to fit when they compare the two.

Ok and yes all that makes sense, i have seen some pics of the coyote in the Pace Engine bay and it seems to fit nicely...
