As an interested spectator, "What an event". Everything from my perspective seem to flow really well. Plenty of eye candy on display and action a plenty.
Haven't seen the results, but if John White was in "SHELBY 2" that was my pick for the best looking car in a sea great looking cars.
Have got a heap of photos which i will endeavor to post up.
Really nice to put some faces to names from the forum, met a few Vic Cobra club members as well. Really friendly community and very welcoming, the wife commented on what a really nice group of people own Cobras.
PS. The wifes now Keen, how good is that.

Hoity, glad you guys enjoyed yourselves. Shelby2 is a Pace but is Mark Hudsons car. Johns was in the same garage but with meatballs with #47 and is an LSA engine. There's a pic on the previous page

As a first timer and spectator with a car that missed the event by a couple of weeks, I would like to thank the Cobra community for their warm welcome, generosity, access and willingness to share their knowledge.
I was a great event..
Many thanks
Chris

Thanks David, really likes what Marks done with his car, my photos are pretty crappy as I was in a hurry. The light was all over the place inside the garage, made it hard with the iPhone and only had the 70-200 lens on the camera.
If anyone else got some photos, post me up.
Cheers

What a great event. Extremely happy with my 1m11.0s on the first outing.
Congratulations to the CCCNSW and all the volunteers especially on another magic event.
Anyone who watched my car at the drags or hillclimb may have noticed how slow it was. I have spent all afternoon talking to my tuner mates because the car is completely gutless until its up and honking in third gear. We're pretty sure its ECU speedo calibration in the tune and will check it out just as soon as possible. This is why I picked up a trophy for slalom (1st gear only), do good lap times, but completely sh1thouse in drag and hillclimb - just got no power through 1st and 2nd.
It should be doing big black linies in first and it just isn't. I noticed most quick cars were getting into third gear at the start of the hill climb. I was just getting into second and that is with 3.7 gears.
When this thing is running properly its going to scare me sh1tless !
Can't wait for next year.

Good on you Ben, congratulations.
a phenomenal effort considering first start was only a week or so back.
What a shake down.
Best regards

Bugger, you've found my little "nobble" - I had to do something to slow you down :-)
Seriously though - It was a fantastic event - great people, cars, weather etc.
I must sincerely thank the volunteers and organisers for their time and efforts and their constant smiles and hard work to make it a fun event for all.
Great to see more completed builds/new cars there this year.
Already got a couple of improvements in the works for next year.
Cheers
Gregg

Loved the Nationals this year. Thanks to all involved - organisers, volunteers, entries, spectators and of course, the weather.
The results are now up on the web site:
