If you're in Darwin....it's a bit far to go to visit Boxhead....he's in Alice Springs , about 1,500 Klm's away.....you might be closer than that though.
Welcome,
Warren

Alfie is in Darwin from memory. He's got a CR with an LS7 in it.

Welcome aboard

Welcome aboard

Sorry, I don't know the car you're referring to, nor can I find it on eBay.

But considering that it's being sold from that part of town you might want to check if it's being sold by a gent named David Tucker.
Google the name on this forum and you'll see what I mean.
I've no personal experience with him, but clearly many others have.

Best of luck with your search!

Hi Outback
The Territory is a big place, so I'll start playing 40 questions. This might be fun!
Q1. Are you in Darwin? Y/N
Q2 If yes, are you north or south of the Berrimah Line? N/S
Q3 If yes, is it a suburb? Y/N
Q4 If no, are you in (or near) a major town centre? Y/N
Q5 If yes, can you name it? _____________
Q6 If no, do the directions to your place include "turn off the bitumen at ...."

Welcome to the forum mate, I know of three other Territorians on this forum with vehicles, plus me, and I've only seen one, maybe two other replicas in Darwin. So there aren't many Shelby replicas in the NT.

G'day Outback

I'm new to the club too. Been watching and learning for a while. Learnt a lot.
So ill say thanks. What made me join up is I'm from Traralgon and have hade a look
at the Silver Cobra you saw on ebay.

He was originally asking $60000. From what I could see it is showing its age.
What he is now asking I thing it is still to much.
I don't think it comes with any compliance papers. I don't know if you need them or not.
I hope this is some help to you.

Yes it he has brought the price down to $45000.

The car dhs.buckley has shown on ebay looks good.

I'm sure there are better cars around in this price range.

Hi Outback and Welcome,
I think Dave (Boxhead) was thinking about selling his cobra at one stage, it might be worth your time trying to contact him. He would certainly be worth talking to and could advise you on what to look for.

The car is a DRB . Solid diff . With trailor arms . Not sure about the length . I dont want one thats been extended . Hes not sure
Himself. If he can get his $46k back for it .hes happy
Are the DRB ones a good thing without the independent rear end .
I also asked the guy in vic selling the silver car .if he was David Tucker . Hasn't replied

Hi Outback.

As others have said, I am based down in Alice Springs, so not exactly around the corner.

The MVR up here are proper car enthusiasts and will help you all the way through in getting a car complied for rego.
They are also willing to supply exemptions on a lot of items that other States wont allow.

As for selling, I have a love/hate relationship with my car all the time, at the moment I sort of love it, so not really looking to sell.
Mine is a square tube Classic Revival, fitted with LS1 and T56, has AU rear end, Jag front.
Mine doesnt have the shiney paint and bling of other cars (but I love how it looks).
If you are down in Alice for any reason and you want to take a look and go for a drive, let me know, as Money talks.

Here are some snaps.

This is a better indication of color.

And with 17's fitted.

Hey Box, scuse the highjack but did you do anything with your rotors/discs to fit your 15's?

I love the stance and look. One of my favourite cars.

Hey Spook, no they are standard Jag front and standard AU rear, I did have to linish the fins off the rear caliper.
