Dash retaining clips?

Now that I have solved the issue with the motor, I'm back onto to new and exciting thing.

I need to attach my dash somehow and was wondering what you all have done for this? I have done it with those plastic trim clips pushing into some small brackets but it's a bit flimsy.

I flush fitted some m6 screws under the covering of the dash and fitted it that way.
