Or am I wrong?

14 odd people and 6 cars. Not a bad roll up at all!!! Just need some sunny weather next time.
Thanks to everyone for coming especially the Brisbane guys for making the drive....
Great to see Steve B back on his feet and looking spritely. Also great to sit and chat with Muzza and Brad Jeff and co... A wealth of knowledge there and I've got the wife baking some scones to get Muzza to weave some magic on my shed projects.
Mick schipps your efforts to attend are outstanding and to the rest off the guys and ladies pleasure to meet you all and I look forward to arranging cnc3 with all and more attending.
I swam home. Pics to follow.?
Cheers spookypt

Matt I've had calls from people in Longreach Winton and Thargomindah asking if you could organise a Cobra Coffee morning in their towns ...

The boys scored a nice long table. By 7.30 the hippies had moved in and it was standing room only. Still a good vibe and great coffee. Lots of passer by interest too.
Some cars parked up.
Looking back.
Brads PACE rumbles into town.
All in all for our first (/2nd) Cnc went pretty well. Food was good, vive was good, car chat was awesome. With the rain (Buckets) some even parked undercover which was available too. (Sorry I forgot to add that in) The only issue was it was pretty packed.
I think it makes a pretty central venue as its got a lot going for it but I've been thinking of maybe trying that Palmwoods Garage next. I'll let you know when CNC3 is planned and set a date on a separate/new forum topic.
There were a couple of little negatives that I'd like to improve on for our next one.
Matt

Don, you know I've often thought about our western friends. I'd love to arrange a run out there BUT rather than take our cars, I'd be really keen to arrange everyone who had a car trailer to load them up with feed and then we do a run out there, stay overnight and then come back.
I know its a looooong way and not car related per say, but imagine if we could get 10 or 15 or 20! trailer loads of feed for their animals and run it out there. It'd be awesome. I'd be happy to arrange it if I knew that I'd get the support. I'd find a place say 3-4 hours inland that is as dry as ole boots, arrange with the locals who needs it most, tee up some quality feed and arrange the accom. Geez out their I'd be happy to camp under the stars!!
I cant imagine how good I'd feel driving home and that only be a poofteenth of how the receivers of our goodwill felt.
Anyway that's a dream I'll turn into a reality sometime in the future.
Matto
