Has anyone heard anything about Component Cars in WA as the website is down, and they have been removed from the FFR website as well?

I think you will find they are no longer a FF distributor.

A few have self imported FF's and found the process relatively straight forward.
Cokey likes this.

Yes you are correct Tenrocca, no longer involved with the industry but still have a passion for the cars.

Add TRAILERWORLD - ALAN HOWELL Logan Rd Underwood to the list. He's been building a fair few over the years and currently has one for sale for about $130k I think. He uses DRB type kits from memory.

Hi Matt,

just to let you know we're still in business (we sold a Boss Cobra a couple of weeks ago) though winding it down due to other committments. In fact the tooling etc for each of our three cars; Cobra, GT40 and DRB540 are for sale.
Surely there are members out there who'd like to get into manufacturing some really neat cars?

Cheers,
Todd

Hey Todd, blast from the past mate nice to hear from you. I reckon you're right about someone buying your tooling. Well established brand and prominent in the market. Cant go wrong.

I bet you miss fanging around in the Orange 40 ALOT! Really miss seeing that car and yourselves at events.

Yes, I miss the 40 a lot, especially with the Nationals just around the corner.
Getting to Bathurst in it was a highlight and would love to return one day.

Cobra Owners - Cobra Kits (Warwick Harrison) Are alive. Rebranded HARRISON COBRA
Craig Jervis and Chris JNR Seaman from Rockhampton in Queensland brought Cobra Kits from Warwick, Craig already owns number 118 of Warwicks Cobra Kits cars. Over the build Warwick and Craig built a great friendship. Craig at the time owned Rockhampton Automatics Chris or Jnr to most people works for Craig and ESCORTING his daughter Kassi. Craig and Jnr acquired the moulds from Warwick, the old chassis was in much need of a upgrade so all parties decided, lets start flesh. so new chassis Jig with new designed chassis was the request and with help from Warwick and Jenny we are Building a new Chassis Jig to suit the FORD Coyote engine. Standard 100 mm longer, Move Steering rack forward to in front of cross member, Live 9inch axle with 4 link. also adding a few more features from Craig's build.
So HARRISON COBRA is alive. So pass the word around.
