The search continues
Hi All,
My search for a starter project continues. Have come across a rolling chassis that was made by Brian from Homebush fibreglass. Both body and chassis are 2005. Car has a live rear axle. Owner has no paperwork about the chassis passing the rigidity test. Does anyone know if the Homebush chassis from this era will pass the test in NSW? Stephen |
Okay, so a lot of views but no feedback on the Homebush chassis. Does anyone on the forum own a homebush? Feedback on the quality of the Homebush replica?
|
There a number of them about, they seem a reasonably well built car.
Contact an engineer before you buy anything is my advice. |

Thanks Craig, spent some time searching already, but most of the posts go back to mid 2000's. Was hoping for some more up to date stuff.
Anyway, here are some pics of the car, appreciate any feedback on the chassis. |
I think Brian at Homebush has gotten out of the Cobra kit stuff?
I think he is still around assembling cars though? This is all from a sketchy memory, maybe search the Aussie forum with Brian or Homebush as search word. |
