Thanks, much appreciated, and I do get the "is it real" question more often than not. The myraid of small (and big) details developed and installed while at Acton Custom a couple years back really do the trick. Being an early CCX there's patina going on 30ys in select areas which we decided to keep but the sharp eye can always tell.

And with the theme of parking to stay out of the weather.
Back in October 2010 when I did my drive from Alice to Cairns and back, I stayed at the same place in Mount Isa on my way home, it was looking like rain, dso the owners told me to park up in the bbq courtyard under the shelter.

qDave, 215's are a bit skinny aren't they and a fair bit shorter. Mathematically 275/55 are ~683mm dia where 215/60 is 639mm.
|
This is just my opinion and really relates to my own ideals of what looks good...lol.
But the front tyre has to have a smaller diameter than the rear tyre. When the diameters are the same i feel like the front wheels look bigger than the rear in profile.
Yes 215 sounds skinny but Avon tyres are on the wide side of the measurements and a wider wheel streches the tyre out a little as well. My plans are for street 427 so the tyres shouldnt look out of place.....hopefully.

Here's a photo of the day from yesterday - not as a highlight but the opposite.
Seeing any Cobra on fire is awful, but seeing the driver still strapped in with flames licking around at head height makes it a lot worse. Link to photographer's Facebook page under the photo. Comments in the Facebook post said Mark was having issues with the Holinger transmission, he got out OK, and the firies thankfully got onto the job quick smart.

Just installed a POSI Jag rear end, completing the interior and will start work on the front suspension.
