Team Tweed as I dubbed us were pretty easy to spot.
Dummy grid next to a giant HSV..
Tastes like victory.

26.3@189.5kph. Car just hasn’t got enough power (259rwhp) to punch hole though the air. It took the last 300 meters to go from 180 to 189.5kph.
I’m in the shed planning the next move. Either I pull the ITB’s and add a turbo(s) or I build a new stroker motor. The motor in the car only has 2,000odd kms on it now and is perfect for some boost.

Uncle I would have a chat with Ned from Hercules Race Engines in Sydney, he is a wizard with small block Fords.
Cheers,

Yep I know a few guys who have engines built by them. I’m thinking some AFR185 heads and a bigger cam as a start. Pretty conservative roller job in it now.
I should prolly start a build thread at some point hey.

I'm out in Toronto and would really love to participate in that cruise. When and where for next year?

I'm in the middle of rigging up the top to open and close in this fashion so I can get both access to the trunk and make a unique piece. Going to pivot off the 1/4" steel supports on either side of the windshield and be supported by two pistons off the new roll bar I'm designing

You can see from where my friend is holding the roof from, that I've trimmed it down to within an inch of its life. Nice and low.

You're definitely welcome but I'd say it would be a long trip in the Cobra. :-(
I really like your idea for the hard top - the profile looks great side on too.
Cheers Gregg

Thanks Gregg. I purchased the car 3 months ago and have been putting my spin on it. A before and after shot.

I love the Nitto tyres, look like they are doing 200MPH standing still.

Building this 71 Mach at the same time. Equivalent to your Falcon. It's a year from completion but the cobra has been a blast for this summer.
