I agree a hundred percent. A day or two at Goodwood Revival or even Monterey Historics, and I wouldn't need to watch any other motorsport all year.

also agree 100%

on friday i was at spa, qualifiying for the sixhours race saturday,

i were all around the paddocks and the pitlane for two hours, that was one of my most impressive motorsport experiences ever, about 150 historic racing cars coming in and out all the time, hundreds of hectic mechanics, cobras, gt40s, e-types, incredibly noisy, oil everywhere on the ground, crazy...

Top is on:

Gone for my first real drive. Top is nice and solid with little to no sqeaks or rattles. Need side windows. Feels more comfortable at speed. Good for 25kmh on the straight at least

I reckon you'll get heaps faster than 25kmh on the straight Andy. Maybe up to even 50kmh! Geez, even Gregg can do that!

Looks great! I'm thinking plastic side windows for mine...using the type of plastic for convertible rag-tops....with a black vinyl/velcro perimeter attachment. Easy on/easy off.

Seriously though I really do like the Black Lemans top contrasting with the grey. Looks mean.

That's the High performance version too. It'll be a fair bit slower once he's troweled 50KG of concrete all over it to match the rest of the car

Default hardtop in Texas?!

I just picked up a Mr Bruce Le Mans hard top last night, soon to be fitted to my Hurricane 427 cobra build. (my wife, and her hair, will be pleased). Now I just have to figure how to engineer hinges, latches, glass, etc etc.

Been out cruising today doing a bit of a shakedown before nats. All I can say is I wish I had done this sooner. The top is just brilliant. So much more pleasant to drive even without windows (which I am now working on getting something ready).
