Dave, If you really want to sell I think you'll need to sharpen your pencil a bit matey. Phil's car with a close to brand new 6lt, new gearbox(es)\new clutch, brembo brakes, paint and NSW rego(5-10K premium right there), new wheels\tyres, a trailer for $60k (granted, with minimal assembly required). DHS.Buckley's python sold within weeks at $62k with vic rego. A potential buyer would still need to travel to the Alice to view as well. Unfortunately your location and state of rego really does limit your pool of buyers IMO.

Agree matey.
But don't have to sell, so will wait it out, see what happens.
Things are changing in SA, and it looks like club plates may become a real possibilty for kit cars.
Maybe I will fit a roof.

It might just be me, but if I was in the market, I'd be ok with paying overs for boxheads car. I know it's well tested, and well sorted.
No disrespect intended to the other two cars Tenrocca mentioned. They were smoking deals imho.

Settled on our next home today, Great Ocean road is only an hour or so away, may be a good reason to keep the Cobra.

It's partially under water at the moment Dave. Just a little something extra to add to the challenge.
Well done on settling on your new abode and for what it's worth mate --- keep the yellow peril. You know you'd miss it! It's a bit like Moffatt's Mustang. Great iconic car, but it wouldn't look right for anybody else to be driving it.
(I just noticed the time I posted this. And my post number is Craig's Q777 number plate. So there you go Dave. It's karma. Keep the bloody car!)

Leave it unwashed and you'll be selling a red one Dave, not yellow.

Only the cover is turning red (with a bit of pink in there from Mildreds paint job)
