I'm very familiar with the height problem.

Surprisingly some of the older DRBs have adequate leg room, and of course the new Absolute Paces are probably the market leader in interior space on a 90" wheelbase but I haven't seen a used Pace for sale yet. The stretched Harrisons are another to consider if you're not hung up on their being 4" over the "proper" length. In most cases you can't pick the difference anyway.

Unless you're handy with tools and have the time and patience to embark on a build, you're probably better off looking for a used one. Despite their reputation most Cobras haven't been flogged to death. I'd suggest you widen your search and no doubt you'll come across some obviously poorly thought out examples along the way, but, when you eventually find one that takes your breath away and makes you feel you can't live without it, before you make any rash decisions be aware that there'd be any number of very knowledgeable guys in the various state Cobra clubs who would be prepared to assist you in determining if that car is indeed the one that will make you happy for years to come. It's hard not to be overcome with relief and excitement when you finally find "the one" but really, stay calm, talk to someone who knows what he's looking at and be guided by his advice. Happy hunting!

And if you happen to find a RHD Backdraft here its 92 inch so it could be good too. They exist but probably harder to find than the one you're looking for.
