Lovely. Probably only the wheel offsets that give any hint of it being a cr. Does the cr windscreen fit the ap body?
He's done a lovely job!!

Its gaurdsman blue Im pretty sure. Windscreen the same. Dimensionally the CR and AP bodies are pretty close. Paul did a test fit with Ben's body before ordering his body. If you saw the amazing stuff he does in his workshop it would come as no surprise he could make it work.

my experience with Dax a little while back when building their Rush was woeful at best.
google their facebook page and british cobra forum for comments, it's scary reading
I believe that they may be insolvent, I hope that your friend hasn't sent any money their way....I'd be looking elsewhere for a rear end.

CRAP Cobra
Hi guys, Im back !
Thanks for all the kind words Andrew
The CRAP cobra is finally finished after 12 months of cut fingers, swearing and human endurance tests.
CRAP is a term Warren came up with
Classic Revival Absolute Pace.
To say it was easy is a massive understatement.
NOTHING fitted so every part had to be either modified or remade.
But in saying that im very happy with the finished product.
The car is with Bobby Brown at the moment having a final tune, and when i get it back i will post a bunch of photos.
Stay tuned !!!

The number has stuck with me for years.
Back in the 80's I raced BMX and that was the state number I was given.
The first house my girlfriend and I brought was number 131.
When I started racing motorbikes the number the club gave me was 131.
I can't escape it !!!

Sorry to state the obvious but why not just fit a CR body to CR chassis?

Hey Pete, out of curiosity only (and maybe for future ), what were the main areas you need to address when fitting the Pace body to the CR chassis?
cheers Gregg

Gregg,
Paul has pulled off an enormous job to make this work. The CR inner tub was cut away very extensively and required a whole lot of new glassing.
I will see if I can find some pics showing the initial trial fit with my body.
Cheers,
Ben
