It has crossed my mind.
But we might be in the middle of moving to SA around that time.

I will know as time gets closer.

6 weeks after I received the body and chassis, and that is all you got, the cobra was running around Oran Park doing its brake test.

I am looking forward to assembling this car as a lot of the hard work is already done.

If I could make the comparison, building an AP would be like buying a flat pack coffee table from IKEA, the Classic revivals I have built would be like buying an axe and going into the forest and cut down a tree.
That has been my dilemma .. I had to slap mine together to beat the pollution rules and after .. every year reassemble the car for rego.. 1 step forward ..two steps back. In my case a very slow build.

The Cobra community has been a big part of my life for many years and I do miss it. The 25th anniversary is something I would like to attend, with a cobra.

Started looking at second hand cobras for sale and ended up with a complete pace kit.

I have a fully equipped workshop, and to build a pace would be a fun thing to do and perhaps I could offer this build service in the future.

Looking forward to the nationals 25th, and would actually have the car for sale at the event, just need it to Sunday afternoon😀

Anyway VWs are way cooler.

Default Started

Finally got around to starting the Pace.

Spent a long time reading thru the manual understanding the construction and going thru all parts to see what I have and get organised.

I have worked out my build sequence and have opted to leave the body on.

I cannot believe how complete it is, haveing all fasteners is such a time saver.

So far so good.
