Question Cleveland Questions

A couple here.
Does anybody here have some good flow numbers from 0.100 - 0.600 lift on ported 2V Austrailian Heads ?

Is anybody here using the Funnelweb intake ?

If anybody here is running a Cleveland what kind of HP and Torque numbers are you getting ?

Sorry about the last post, must be a senior moment. I am running a Cleveland with 4v heads and somewhere I have flow numbers on both 2v and 4v heads, but I will have to look. I have not put mine on dyno yet, so no torque or HP numbers. There is good Cleveland forum: www.network54.com/Hide/Forum/119419

Thanks. I found the 335 forum a while back. It seems to me that with the exception of a Med Riser FE nothing will fit under the stock hood. I can't afford a FE and everybody has a 460 or 514 so I'm thinking Cleveland. Yes I could use the Edelbrock Performer and use the stock hood but why choke off the motor just for aesthetics. I found the Funnelweb intake down in Austrailia.

I used an Edelbrock Torker on my Cleveland, but still had to use a short 2.25" tall filter and drop base air cleaner for hood clearance. I reallw don't know how tall Parker Funnel Web intake is. You might contact: www.dscmotorsport.com
I believe they have them. By the way, I bought spare Cleveland shortblocks from a place in Spring, Texas. If you need address, let me know. Later, David.

Here is a link to flow numbers on almost every ford head and cam out there

http://www.pinn.net/~nascar/fordhead.htm

there are some cleveland 2v heads but I do not know if they are teh same as the Aussie heads
the flow numers look about the same as the aluminum GT-40X FRP heads so they ourt to be pretty good

I use an ancient but worthwhile Offy Dual Plane on 4v heads--it works.

Thanks for the web site. Lots of good info for my future toy and my Lightning. The surprising thing is that no Aussies have chimed in. I appreciate everything from my American friends but I figured since the Cleveland was made in Austrailia longer there would be more used.

Well I'll chime in with my bobs worth, as I understood it the cleveands only use Downunder was as an artifical reef or the good old boat anchor, sorry no numbers from me, hopefully some other Aussie can add to the previous posts.
Good luck with your build when it happens. Paul

Default cleveland's

lol @ ozcobra, I have no numbers on the cleveland engine either.
The comment from ozcobra reminds me of a joke.
Why do ford paint there engines blue?

So they blend in with the water when used as boat anchors

fordracer - I don't have any numbers to give you, because all the guys that I know that have Clevelands either have:
1. Totally standard "rebuilt" stocko boring motors,
2. Totally radical hi-port 4V 8,500rpm motors or
3. Yates / Brodix / Track Heats etc

Tony O'Connor from TOCA Automotive here in Brisbane have built more tough Cleveland motors than any other speed shop I know - here or in the States. His number is 01161732901606. I don't think he's ever built a motor that has less than .650" lift, 260 duration camshaft, so I don't know if he could help you with milder flow numbers. His own street car runs 9.2 @ 140+mph in a 3200lb car - no tubs, standard suspension, iron head Clevo, flat tappet camshaft, C4 Auto, 9"
