Hi Mike,

The only one I know of in NZ is Almac cars http://www.almac.co.nz/ These guys have been in business a long time. I've got a NZ Hot Rod magazine from about 1984 with an article on the first cars they built. Graham Berry race cars used to build the chassis for them and it looked like a solid unit.

The Almac car In the article had Jag rear suspension and LH torana front suspension with a lader frame chassis. I don't know if the design has changed much since but there are plenty of cars over here with similar setups.

There should be a Cobra car club or sports car club in NZ. They would be your best starting point for finding a local manufacturer. Check out this link http://www.binary.co.nz/sccnz.html

If you can't find a cobra kit in NZ that you like you could bring a kit over from Australia. We have got heaps of replica manufacturers over here. It's only a 3 hour flight so come over for a holiday and check a few of them out.

Cheers

Hi Mike,

The DRB Cobra from Australia is available via a dealer in Auckland. I have looked at both the Almac and the DRB and have found the DRB dealer very good to deal with. Let me know if you want contact details
