Default For Craig - New Killer Tremec

Hi Craig Im thinking of you. I posted this elsewhere but wasnt certain youd see it. Anyhow, TTC Auto have released a new box, called the TUET1806. Check it out;

TUET1806

115-129/ 52.2-58.5
550/746
3,460/1,569
2.66
1.78
1.3
1.00
0.74
0.5
2.9

Yes, thats a factory troque rating of 746nm for a warranted service life on the box!

Now thats a strong box!

Thanks for thinking of me!

Unfortunately, I can't be certain that a T56 would fit in my car. I know for a fact that I'd have to hack the chassis apart, but more of a problem is the length of the tailshaft. While I don't think that my motor sits any further back than many other kits, I can't see uni joints doping with such a short driveshaft length with a live axle.

In any case, 746nm is a very impressive torque rating. I'm making around 950nm, so I'd be pretty sure that this box could handle it. You just know that the factory would understate the torque rating, and leave a little up their sleeve.....

I've had a look at www.ttcautomotive.com to see if I could find what applicaion these boxes are used in, but no luck. Any ideas?

Thanks again,
Craig

(I think I'll make do with the 2 speed slushy for now. Looking into my crystal ball, I can see a G-Force GF5R in my future....)

Dont forget it was you yanks that were against WWII initially.....Is it not the hallmark of a free society that others who have the courage of their convictions to free speech, do so? Or is this another extension of the uniquely self imposed US soverign right to invade other countries as part of a first strike policy

Its newton meters.
