Default TCR heater

$435 inc GST

They have a new larger model just out, selling for $595.

The guy did mention that they were imported in from the states,
but I missed the name of the company.

Darn hearing. Must be those sidepipes.

Hey, I resemble that funny engine remark!! Just givin' as good as I get

I picked up a neat little heater at a swap meet a while back. It's a Denso unit and it's tiny @ about 6" in diameter. It's got a fan and two fittings for hoses to the demister vents. There are two doors on the front that let warm air into the cabin area. The date on the heater says 1948. It was in really good condition and i paid $150 for it.

The guy was a wrecker tha did lots of 60's american stuff and he had a couple of similar units. I've got his card somewhere, I'll try to find his number for you.

I found a pic of it on this site Denso

Cheers

Default Yep..thats the heater

I have seen pics of the new larger unit..its the one on the top of the web page I left last post...its a bit bigger than the one I got which is on the same web page but under the pic of the new one.

Although the new one has some good features..ie..like provision for dash outlets and single operating knob...I think the slightly larger size would have made it just that much harder to fit under the dash.

You guys may have more available space under there tho so it may be better, specially if you want dash outlets..and it still has a least one knob.....so them funny motor fellas can still have a play

You all take care

I had a heater just like Mikes in my 1963 series IIA Landrover. Might be another source??

Default Welcome Mrs REPTYL

Very sneaky Jude,

But no need to pose as me,
'cause you now have your own login.

Remember, no late nights while I'm at work.
and no logging on to Club Cobra to tell me to put the rubbish out or feed the cat when I get home.

And for everyone else on this forum, If you see any of my posts without spelling mistakes and with good grammar, it's not me.

It'll be Jude

Actually none of the other Melbourne people exist. They are all just me logging in under different usernames. It's going to be interesting trying to pull this whole act off at the nationals. I think I'll have to hire a bunch of people to pretend to be my alter egos.

Cheers

Come on guys. This is serious!

No longer is it just
Ford vs Chev
QLD vs Vic

Now we have the chicks in the mix.

No good can come from this.

By the way Garrett, if Tina has the pants, what are you wearing

Is that skate board of yours also supercharged.

Apology accepted, thank-you Tina.
It's good to see someone with manners utilising these fine pages.
These no-good Chevy owners and QLDers are just downright rude.

There's nothing wrong with chicks in the mix. Certainly considering I keep Jase in the lifestyle he has become accustomed to.

Oh and Garrett, if you were any sort of gentleman you would create Tina her own login....although I must say my "Cobra Make and Model" information is very light on...thanks Jase.

We will show you "fellows" who wears the pants when we (the girls) kick your butt at Wakefield.

Default Blueprinting

I have just returned from Bundaberg where I had a quick look around the Queensland International Air show.

There is this little aircraft company up there that also make aero engines and have recently released an 8 cylinder.

Blueprinting to the extreme is all I call call it...The crankcase is machined from a solid block of Alloy. I ran a thumb nail over the join where the crankcase halves join and couldn't feel the edge.

have a look at this:

http://www.jabiru.net.au/engines/8cylin.html

Now..I wonder if I can interest them in making a nice lil engine for the cobra...the power to weight ratio would be fantastic.

You all take care

Hi Guys and Girls

Know a certain bloke who scanned his head onto Arnold the Terminators body and then cut/posted this.

As they say post some pictures. But be careful we know you girls.

Then again if you want to increase the usage of the site. Scan Penthouse and cut/paste yourself in.

Did Jason and Garrett say thats not necessary??
you are great as you are!!!

Thanks for the advice on the heater. I spoke with Ray Aldrick at TCR and he is sending me details. Also found what appears to be a good item in a Street Rod magazine.

Stand with everyone else reading everything at the Newsagents. Don't buy anything though.

Must go and do some work. Great edition of Snaketails Jason and thanks for your kind words. They tell me you are nice to everyone at first and then when you know them!!

Weekend at Bernie's would be ideal in say November or February.

Talk soon must go **(

Bernie

A very good attempt at humor there, Mr. Rebel.

Not sure about the closet, but here's a photo of a Vic-Cobra Shed run we had last year.

As you can probably tell I've worked out a bit since this photo.

I must say that Aussie Mike looks particularly cute in this one, and if you look close you can see AC Andy with a bit of a grin on his face, that’s because OZcobra is grabbing his butt.
