Default Cobras at Qld Raceway

OZVENOM - how did everyone go at Qld Raceway today? I hope you got some video footage of your 18" tyres up in smoke around the corners! Any laptimes, or was it more of a casual thrash around the track?

Tyre smoke and sideways action is good for the soul! Send me a copy when you are done. Great work on the pipes by the way!

Andy.

Hi all,

We should organise a meeting location at the Nationals. Could be like a blind date. You stand back and have a look before walking up and introducing yourself.

Seriously Jason, when you have nothing to do you could organise a meeting for all on Saturday at the show and shine at Goulbourn - good idea??

Is ther a show and shine in the park like last years

Must go as I am heading off to McDonald's Racing again in the morning. Currently running brake lines etc.

Will post photos when I work out how. Will probaly ring you Jason. as Judy will know how to do that.

Cheers

Bernie

Hey Jason the next Weekend at Bernies in first half of next year sounds great and I agree that we are very busy for the rest of the year. I am out of here

OZ, those turbo manifolds came up really nicely. That looks like some serious piping there - maybe even Sched 10?!?
I'm going to buy a cone or two on Tuesday, so the car might be out of action that day.....

Did you hear if many of the Cobras got out onto the track?

Troy (with my old Cobra) just had his new motor dynoed. He rang me as he left the dyno room. It's first pull made 545hp, then he was called away to a job. The Jack Bros seemed to think that it'd be good for 580 or 590, and he plans on keeping the T5 in it.....

Bernie - you'll know OZVENOM and myself when you see us at Wakefield Pk show and shine - we'll be the guys sitting back having a cold beer while everyone else is polishing and detailing their cars. Show points are not part of our weekend!!!

Andy - Scott has a thing about piping. Witness Paul's intercooler piping, my intercooler piping, and his own rollbar as proof of this...
