Did you put your order in for that number or were you just lucky.
Same as your number plate isn't it?

Hi Guys,
Still on line for the Nationals.
A little behind in completing the wiring. You may remember an early Thread where I came up with a 'help the auto electrician plan'.
Well, I think I am slowing him down more than helping him
You remember the sign in the mechanics workshop where it says.
$20 per hour
$25 per hour if you watch
$30 if you help
Well, I think I fall into the last category as he is explaining everything to me.
Will come in handy for the next car I guess
Bryan, great to hear you are coming up to Wakefield Park. I was a spectator last year and really enjoyed the show and the events out at the tracks. You will luv it.
I am really pushing to have the car there, but I am also trying to get everything organised at work and at home, as I leave for the States for the 'Run N Gun' straight after the Nationals on Tuesday.
No excuses but starting to realise I am running out of time.
Rob Hamilton is calling into McDonald Bros. Racing on Friday so I may get him to do some re asembly.
Cheers all

Hey Michael
Good to hear you are going.
Look forward to catching up with you. Get someone to take you for a run and you will stop dreaming and jump into action.
(Your description "still dreaming")
I originally sold my first car an RMC to a guy in Geelong and went about dreaming and tyre kicking for ages until I could get the time again to build this second car.
Didn't Bill Gate say;
Don't let the realities of life cloud your imagination or you will live in a world without dreams?
Pretty heavy
I like his answer to the question "Do you ever look back?"
His reply was "..only when I change lanes on the Freeway in my Ferrari.."
Cheers
Thats it to much heavy duty stuff for one night. I am out of here I must get up to work on the car tomorrow in Melbourne.

Hi Michael,
I'll be there and it'd be good to catch up. I'll be easy to spot, a quietly spoken guy in a loud shirt
see you there.
Cheers

Hi Bernie,
I think that's Hershal you are talking about. I met him at the fling and he's a top bloke and all round good guy. Craig and Scott can tell you all about what a great bloke he is as they enjoyed his family's hospitality when they were over for the fling. They drove Hersh's Cobra from Texas to Ohio too.
Cheers

need some grip.
Hi guys well we just had the speed on tweed sprints this weekend and i had a ball . it was just a well organised and run event . with the amount of wheel spin i was getting i turned a 1klm track into a 5klm track. the crowd loved it though.
unfortunately my good friend ron ford crunched his cobra into a baricade and did afair bit of damage and decided not to got to the nats so i ofered to go with my cob and share the driving as he has allready entered . my part of the deal is to now put tyres on it with grip.
so it looks like i will be there.
see ya all in 2 weeks .
Scott.

Not long to go now!!!
Giving the Cobra a shake-down at Heathcote Park next weekend.
Then it's change the oil, check the brakes quick run on the dyno to check the mixtures and away we go
Hopefully I'll have the new intake done by the Heathcote weekend.

Unfortunately, the fibreglass tore, shattered and cracked rather than bent. Nothing that can't be fixed though. I can be blase about these things when I'm not talking about damage to my own car
Here's anothre guy in the middle of a tank-slapper that sent him spinning. He kept it off the barriers, thankfully.

Jason,
What are the arrangements for meeting prior to going to Heathcote. Is it at Maccas' at Campbellfield.
What time
Who has indicated they are going up to heathcote Park Raceway
May wander up to have a look.
Post some replies here and I will check later in the week.
I will be back in Melbourne on Thursday morning at McDonald's Bros. Racing. Doing wiring on Wednesday night after hours there.
Cheers
