Speed on Tweed
Just come back from the Speed on Tweed race weekend at Murwillumbah and must say it was one of the best organised events I've seen in a while.
You can't beat street racing even though was a relatively short course. The Cobras went well, but was the varied array of beasts on show which was the highlight. From a 850HP Jag xjs to an awesome Camaro (**** of a stick).
Tried to catch the Cobra "Works" Team, but i think they had disappeared to the pub. Talking about the pub....how many pubs can you sit, drink a beer and watch a F1 Ferrari speed past.
Great day enjoyed by all the family.
Next stop - Noosa on the 15th of November - Cobra definitely going up.

OK OK Photos by end of tonight.
Technology not my forte. However, one of my many kids took some with the camera. Will try and down load in the next 30 minutes.
Checkout the cat engine - pretty big tiger.

Peter - wasn't it a fabulous event! Sorry I didn't see you there. I kept trying to drop in to see the Cobra guys in the pits. Every time I made a move, something special would hit the track....

Looks like a good day out in the sun, how is the weather down there in Victoria?
Same as last weekend?
A question for ya Craig, when do you guys meet at sanctuary cove?
I will be on holidays in december and will be in Brissie about the 6 or 7th and staying a couple of days.

Box - I'm 99% sure that there'll be a S/Cove breakfast on the 7th Dec, but I don't have the Snaketales magazine at home. Jason - do you have a copy of it there to check the Qld dates for December?

... and as El Presidente, why don't you write a one page summary of events / gossip / notices for the Vic club? It's not like you don't get time while you're at work.......

You cheeky little bugger...If you have a good look at next month edition you will find 9 pages contributed from yours truly. This includes an in-depth technical report from our very own Aussie mike.
The last month’s edition went to press early so I missed a few pages. Every thing you see in Snaketales from Victoria comes from this hot little keyboard.
I noticed that big nosed blue thing of yours made an appearance in the last edition. They let any thing through in to the mag these days. I think you should put a big Clubcobra add together for the next mag Craig, what do you think?

I haven't been getting the mag for ages, and last month was my first one back after a spell. I was as surprised as you to see my car in there. Do the royalty cheques come to my address, or are they deposited directly....
Having not seen a Snaketales for a while, I just assumed that you were always a slack bastard, and never bothered writing an article. Oh well, I'll have to wait for the 9 page Vicathon next month.
Do you reckon the club would be annoyed about us not promoting the cobracarclub.org website. If not, I'll put something together for sure. I'll also ensure that it's only printed in NSW and QLD mags, so as not to encourage any more damn Victorians from taking over here
