Question Vic Cobra Fun Day

Jas,

Need any help for this Sunday ?

What is the BBQ situation, are you bringing one, Graeme Townsend has a large portable and Helen is bringing the 4x4 so they could bring it along.
I have a large esky I will bring for cold drinks. Is there ample shade or are umbrella's required.

I think most of the organising has been done, but I will need a few hands on the day to help with the smaller things.
I have a large BBQ organised but another would probably help.
I don't think my fold out tables are going to fit in the back of the Ford so I may need a couple of those. I put out an email today asking if anyone could bring one along. I might buy a plastic garbage bin for the drinks and ice. Trevor Burke is organising the food and drinks. There are heaps of trees in the park with lots of shade. Some extra shade may be good for the kids if it gets real sunny so maybe chuck the umbrella in just in case.
I just got an email back from Rob Logan, he's bringing 3 or 4 GT40's and I've had heaps of feedback from others wanting to attend so it should be a huge day.

Sounds like you have most things covered Jas. I will bring a table and large umbrella. I saw the notice in the morning paper, I don't think it advised entry was free.

See you there

Excellent! I'll be able to charge everyone when they get there

On a serious note. What paper was it in.
I've gone through hell with the Trading Post, The Sun and Unique cars.
I think they all rate up there with the QLD'er when it comes to IQ.

Hey Guys

Just arrived in Geelong.

Three hours of pissing rain. Stopped twice to sponge the 40mm of water off the flloor.

Must work out where it comes in. Think the chassis and body need a better sealer. Will get it up on the hoist.

I did not wet at all apart from the waster running across the floor.

Will be up there at about 0900 tomorrow. I will ring Bryan to see if we can travel together. He will be the other one with a car full of magazines.

Hey Bryan say 0730 at the Shell servo on Latrobe terrace??

Cheers

see you tomorrow.

Bernie
