Default Wheel and tyre size?

Does anybody know the wheel and tyre size that may be fitted to this car?

http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/s...t=1&thecat=500

Also are these tyres still being made, and are they street legal in Australia?

looks great with the full wheel wells

The wheels look like a proper knock on, and they look 15", may be larger, hard to tell with the super balloons on..

Could be Trigo www.trigowheels.com or PS Engineering (sorry, I don't have a link handy).

I would be interested in your findings on the tyre...

Good Luck!

Cameron

Hi David,

They look like the big letter goodyear tyres . I believe these are a race only tyre and don't have a DOT rating. it hasn't stopped a bunch off the guys in the US running them.

They are big wide and sticky and from what I've read have a tendancy to make the steering hunt a bit. They really throw rocks around as well with the sticky rubber and the tread pattern they have. If you want to run them you could probably get a set shipped over from the US. I believe a few specialty rubber supliers carry them.

Check out Roger Kraus Racing: Cobra Tires

Cheers

Mike;
The term you used "hunt" is what I am experiencing now. I replaced the BFG T/A's with Goodyear Eagles (Roger Kraus Racing)
and man does the steering feel a whole lot different. It has a mind of it's own at slow speeds. Don't notice it at hiway speed.
Someone mentioned a while back that the soft compound tire like
these Goodyears are a "love/hate relationship". I agree. They hold the road like no other but the rocks are flying all over inside
the wheel wells.
