Don't want to hijack this Thread - but will anyway.

Just talking with some friends here last night about the fires in late October at LA and your area and there was a bit of discussion about the fires in your area.


Was our friend right in saying that the fire in Camp Pembleton
- the base just near you? - was started deliberately???

After a few bottles of red we were solving the worlds problems.
Six bottles on this bet.

I can recal someone saying this was the case when I went down to the shopping centre at Crystal Cove for the small car show there, but thought it was just talk.

Hope all is going well there. I remember the fires caused you a little concern.

I'm not sure if they were ever certain about that.
The fires got within 10 miles of my house but we only got lots of smoke and ash.
If you want to know what the area looks like now just check the latest photos from the Mars probe. It pretty much looks like that. The areas that burned are nothing but dirt and rock. At one point there was a fireline that was over 10 miles long and was burning at 6000 acres per hour.
