Default Hi Stuart

How are you?
Did you make a decision about blower or no blower?

Hi David

Blower option is a certain but I am going to wait until rego.

The car is still at the shop having the side pipes fitted then I need to have it tested for emissions, which I am leaving to the experts.

Cannot wait to see how it looks and sounds with the side pipes.

Thanks
Stuart

Stuart.

I am impressed , you are going with side pipes at rego??

I keep hearing conflicting information as to whether side pipes are legal or not. Apart from the noise factor I believe there is now a pedestrian safety issue with exhausts pointing towards gutter.

Suppose you could point the ends down for street use and rotate them out for track use.

What method of construction are you considering. I am following Mike murphys design although will probably go for smaller primaries to keep low down torque.

I am using 2.5 " perf tube covered with sound deadening then wrapped in Thermal blanket. All will be demountable so the cat can be serviced.

I would appreciate you keeping me informed of how your side pipes work out.

Regards,

Phil

Hi Phil,

I thought the same when it came to sidepipes but the agent where I have taken my car has had sidepipes passed through rego with a cars running on fuel? not LPG??

I do not want to dicuss too much in the forum until my car has rego.

You can drop me an E-Mail and I can give you more detail.

Currently the cats are being fitted but I am hoping to see some progress when I visit the car on Sat.

Thanks
Stuart
