Default Electrical Sleeving

Anyone got any ideas on different wire sleeving?

Tyding up the Engine Bay (replacing the split sleeving), but need to know what alternative sleeving is available.

Prefer something flexible.

I've used the armoured sleeving on all of the pressure pipes but at a loss what to use on the wiring.

Help again please..

PCC,

You might try Corrigated Flex Tubing, (we sometimes call it smurf tube, in the electrical trade). You can find it any most home improvement stores or electrical wholesale warehouses. You can buy it in 3/8" and 1/2", in blue or black. The electrical trade also carries a product called seal-tight flex, the problem with it, it's not split. S.T. is also available in 3/8" and 1/2". The nice thing about seal-tight, it is available with an internal metal sheath, which is very good for magnetic field insulation. Good luck.

slithering,

Chris

Thanks Chris for your help.

Ordered some blue corrugated sleeving from the local Autobarn.

Would have preferred to use the seal tight flex (which is available in AUS), but would then have to replace all the switches / connectors etc.

Blue will be good for now.

Picked up the sleeving (blue) with colour co-ordinated "T" and end pieces from Autobarn.

Now to rip out the old and start with the new.
