Angry Dry sump

Hi all,
Just spent the day trying to fit the engine, the only way I can get it to fit is to remove sump and oil pump, so is any one running a dry sump or can you get smaller oil pumps for these au xr8 5lt engines because it won't last without oil. PS how do I load pictures I am still learning this computer stuff.

Thanks Chris B

I am sure you wont have to go with a dy sump setup (unless you really want too anyway).

Wait till afew of the DRB builders see your post and I am sure they will have your answers.

It's gotta be something in the water down there, or is it that Aussie Mile fella who's corrupting you all.

Rebel, The problem these days is passing the epa requirements for rego . I actually would have loved to put a new quad cam boss motor in it but he no fit , And i think the AU motor looks horible almost like they came up with the EFI manifold at the last minute . That just leaves the Holden or should i say Chev . Looks good , goes f---ing hard and very light . SSSWWWEEETTT.

I gotta admit there is precious little choice when it comes to ford engines. Mind you....I wont admit this in public

I've often wondered how the hot rod fellas can install virtually anything they like.

Its election year, about time all the car clubs started lobbying the polititians and reminding them that we vote too.

I've got a mate with a 351W, small cam, ported iron heads, autronic sequential efi ( 8 injectors) thru a 4 barrel throttle body. This thing replaced an old clevo in a restored customline.

Its emissions are cleaner than the dunnydore he drives.

Makes ya wonder!

I have spoken to Peter at DRB and the problem comes from the new chassis, it was designed for the quad cam engine so he is going to let me now how to fix.
