Gee, slow board Craig...

Enough?

Sound good, Cameron. I hope you're planning on bringing the NSX with your new intake manifold and throttle bodies double-sided taped onto the outside of your engine cover....

25 degrees and not a cloud in the sky is the weather forecast. Life is good !

Most people on thje street have no idea the engine is in the back, so i'll just mount the throttle bodies to the hood

But seriously, sure, i'll bring the NSX along. Needs a dust off anyway.

I can't imagine many better cars to take for a flat out blast along the M1 at 2 or 3 o'clock one morning than your car Aerodynamics from a small frontal area, lotsa HP, and built-in high speed stability that comes with any well designed and engineered car.

It'll be funny to see if the Cobra guys know what they're looking at when you get there !!! I bet most don't even realise that the turbos are an aftermarket addition....

Hope to be there (although not at Sanctuary Cove) as the run is coming north (will wait in hiding up Mt Nebo somewhere )

In the final throws of the bathroom reno (a lot of hard work!) and then need sometime sorting out the Cobra's instrumentation (a lot of good luck needed).

Then fingers crossed into the glorious sunshine on Sunday

C'mon Peter - if they can do a bathroom reno within 30 minutes on a TV show, it can't be that hard, can it?!?

I bet your instruments will end up better than mine. I have all brand new Autometer Ultralights. Here's how they work:
Voltmeter - reads 0.5V high
Tacho - generally 200rpm out
Fuel pressure - not liquid filled, so flutters between 40 and 50 psi at idle when the pressure is a rock solid 44psi
Oil Pressure - reads 10 to 15psi low (scary!)
Odometer - I'll let you know if I ever connect the speedo cable
Speedo - As above !!!
Boost - never looked at the gauges when the engine is making boost - too many other things happening...
Fuel level - Bloody hopeless. Reads full for 5 minutes after I fill the tank, then it falls down to around 1/4.

Lucky the gauges are cheap. If I were doing it again (and considering my lack of interest in attempting to make Cobras look authentic), I'd use a Motec backlit dash. Stack also make a nice dash.

Nice to see we have something in common other than both cars are blue ie. my gauges work as good as your's.

If I get my fuel gauge working I'll be happy.

People always on my rev meter (tops out at 7,000) even though realistically its around the 5 mark.

Ah well, who needs gauges when your watching the road ahead

Craig,

If you saw my bathroom reno, you would agree that 30 minutes was not quite long enough.

I'm close to the finishing line so will give it the final push.

When you join the reno game you'll soon realise that if you don't get the last jobs done as you are doing the main reno work it will never get done.

Also been able to find time to get closer with the instrumentation.

Al gauges working except for the oil and tacho. Illimination should sort that one out.

Who knows, I might get to see you again at the next Sanctuary Cove meet.

Al, sorry I did'nt get to meet you on Sunday. Hope you're enjoying your hols - can't beat the QLD winter can you?
