Number plates/ Vanity plates - any ideas
Hi all,
With the amount of new Cobras about to hit the road I thought that I would start a "Thread' to get some ideas on number plates for our Cobras.
I know there is a site on 'All Cobra Talk' that has vanity plates on it and it hasn't been active for a while, so here goes lets start one here in Aus.
Most States have a limit to character numbers. For example South Australia is 7 and Victoria is 6 etc.
I think that most have a miniumum number of 2 or 3 characters.
Recent editions of 'Kit Car Magazine' have covered the 'Double Venom Spring Fling' in London Ohio and part of that coverage was a number of photos of plates. You may get an idea here.
So here goes, I will start a list a of few possibilities
FNFAST
FNQUIK
FNREAL
QUIKMF
VENOM
VENMUS
FSTASP
REAL 1
XRACER
HWYMAN
HWYKID
ACCRUZ
REPTYL - that will see if the de - throned King Jason I, is looking.
Etc etc.
So get those creative juices running.
Perhaps you may like to attach a photo of a plate you have seen just for interest - funnier the better.
If you see a plate on here and you want it you know what to do?
Cheers all have fun
Bernie
P.S
MCVAN is gone. BIGMAC is gone, RONALD is gone, BURGLA is gone so keep trying.

Already taken in NSW (on a Cobra).
If I was to buy one, which I'm not that would be the one for me.
Stick with my standard plates - GKS is that Geeks or Jacks? If Jack's then ideal as that is what the better half is called.
On an aside, I nearly bought a Black Cobra solely on the basis of the number plate (JACKS), but then again probably wouldn't have been allowed to drive it.

Hey Bernie,
How long does it take for post to leave SA?
I'm waiting upon an express parcel sent Monday for some instrumentation gauge covers from Emtech Automotive.
Usually gets here from Sydney the next day. Obviously SA must be a little more remote.
Impatience on my part. Car's almost back on the road.

Very interesting Cameron,
I can only assume the 2K put's most people off.
Most Cobra's here have the 2 and 3 combinations, usually with COB in the combination.
So close when I bought my Cobra to getting personal plates then thought what the hell - why do you need them!
Rather spend the money on a good neon setup or may be...........................NOS!
Craig, not got upto Redcliffe yet, daren't go as I'll know I'll come back twice as fast and twice as poor

Cameron
I'm amazed that the COBRA series are available there.
I can remember someone saying they wanted HOTROD for their car and they tried and is wasn't available.
But that sent them down the combination path and they ended up with HQTROD.
SPF351 anyone??
Cheers
Bernie

Mail is a day slower
PCC
Peter
Usually mail takes about 2 working days to our accountant in Melbourne.
Mt. Gambier and regions in South Australia are always two as all mail goes into Adelaide then is sent to the relevant State.
Cheers
Bernie
