Talking Its alive

Hi guys,

Well the Cobra is finally finished and thanks to Aussie Mike I now have photos in the gallery. Still more to come from the early days and hopefully more to come of me enjoying the Cobra.

At the moment it scares me every time I take it out (twice) but I am sure that will change as I gain experience and excercise respect.

Thankyou to those who have offered encouragement and advice.

As you all are aware there are frustrations in tackling this type of project but I can assure you its a great thrill to see it parked in the garage and an even greater thrill when it fires up and heads up the road. I still cant get over the sound it makes, neither can the neighbours.

Phil

Congratualtions Phil!!

It's been most enjoyable watching your car come together and a real source of inspiration for my own project.

Now I just have to wrangle a work trip to Sydney so I can get a ride.

Cheers

Congrat's Phil on an excellent finish The car looks awesome. I can only imagine how great you feel about having completed a task you started so long ago and now have the pleasure of driving and showing off your results. Look forward to seeing it in the flesh.

Peter,

I live in Hornsby, close to F3 for high speed testing and Galston Gorge to see if it handles and brakes.

More than happy to show you the Cobra if you are in Sydney.

Regards,

Phil

Will let you know when I'm down again.

Well done Phil,

I can relate to the scarey first few rides. It's a weird mixture of excitement, concern whether you've tightened every bolt, and being bl$$dy scared - all equates to an adrenalin rush ! In my case, I wasn't used to the pedals and clipped the accelerator heading into a tight corner - that caused a rush of a different kind !

The red on black looks fantastic. And as for those dash lights, mate, they are awesome - where'd ya get 'em ?

Whats the large red button for on the right ? Start ? Stop ? Brake bias ? Horn ? Ejector Seat ?

Enjoy the rides....

Adrian.

Adrian,

The red knob is for break bias adjustment. Need a few track days to get it set up.

Regards,

Phil

Phil!

Hey Phil, I can tolerate folks who elect to use motors from the dark side......but....whats that I spy in the dash of that gorgeous stealthy machine of yours???.

Do I spy something beginning with"R"
