Well there you go. What great exposure to a huge television audience.
What a fantastic opportunity to promote Python Cobra Racing and GV Automotive. I was surprised that the television network didn't change the name to something else.
All the actors were walking around in George's Cobra race shirts and business shirts with his name all over them. Great free advertsing.
George had a small cameo speaking role. He drove the convertible into the shop off the tow truck and spoke to the workshop owner.
I saw a dozen or so Cobra bits in the factory during the program along with George's two race Cobras.
Front clip off the race car and hanging on the wall etc. etc.
At one stage George's blue Cobra was out the front with his blue Thunderbird.
There was a Cobra on the hoist also under construction.
Overall a lot of promotion for Cobras and of course early Mustangs.
My daughter did not miss the fact that the main workshop owner called Mitch was played by F. J. Holden ( Frankie J. Holden ).
.. an F.J. Holden in a factory full of Fords.
Wasn't a bad story line either.
Like that blonde cop also
Don't think I have spoilt it for anyone who has it on tape.
