Come on Dave, Batman and Robin had different colour boots and capes (and undies).
So this dynamic duo has different colour boots, hats and cuffs.
(no comment on the underwear).
And please explain what you are doing to poor Robin in this photo

Here you go Bernie.
I've got no photo editing software on my home PC since it pooped itself. Had to shrink these on the work PC
Cheers

Dad said a yellow car ended up on it's side.... What happened there? I've been away for a couple of weeks and missed all the action.
Results? Who went fastest, had the shiniest, drank the most, went off track the most, etc, etc? I've seen who took home the best dressed honours, but what else happened?

no use running through the results for you Craig.
You wouldn't know anyone, cause they all went to Victorians.
Except for the few in the QLD race Cobra class.
Sad to see Greg Hoods Big block hit the wall.
There were a couple of photo of the car in another post.

Is anyone planning on publishing the lap times and names of drivers? Vic or otherwise, it seems as though there's a veil of secrecy going on.
I was expecting to see results, photos, gossip and tall tales from a fantastic weekend. It all seems awfully somber......
I'm not sure I know of Greg Hoods. I can't see any photos posted elsewhere. Might have been a victim of the now infamous ClubCobra software crash of 2004.

I posted the results after last year’s event but as the ex-pres I'm no longer in the loop.
The Wakefield guys said that the track was a good 2 seconds slower this year due to the cooler weather and heavy rain the day before.
Most of the quick guys from Vic agreed with that, posting times down on last year.
I'm happy. I was 1 second quicker than last year with a car that had a huge flat spot.
It's amazing what a difference brakes and tyres can make.
And only one spin this year.
It was a good one though, locked the rears at 200+ going in to turn2 and ended up having to be towed out of the kitty litter.
I don't know all the results but team Reptyl did well
1st ladies hill climb
1st ladies go to whoa
1st ladies drags
3rd ladies Sprints
1st ladies overall points
3rd class 2 go to whoa
1st class 2 hill climb
pit lanes best dressed
2nd best spin out
2nd class 2 Victoria
1st ladies Victoria
Had to leave our clothes at Wakefield to get all the trophies home.

Hey Jason
Judy (Mrs. REPTYL) did very well. Did you win anything..
.. The biggest spin out I have ever seen and smoke to match. Was that trophy hunting though..

Sorry Bernie, didn't mean to confuse you.
Mine were the following:
Over 5 ltr:
1st Hill climb
3rd go to whoa
2nd overall vic
2nd best spin
& 1/2 the best dressed award
Also 5th in sprints and 4th in drags.
I had a few more guys in my class than Judy. (You included Bern).

Jason
Spent most of my time doing 360's (donuts).
Hillclimb mostly sideways and 360's (donuts) also. Had trouble with the windscreen wipers and the one handed wipe of the visor. My excuse for s t driving ability in the wet on Saturday
Sunday..well..
So that was a boot of trophies then..

Craig,
The photos of the remains of Greg's car after it hit the tyre wall and armco at a very high speed have been lost in a server crash so I will repost them
Cheers,
Bryan

I cant devulge too much here Bernie but afew of us got into some "different" conversations after afew drinks.
P.s I have added some more progress pics of my car and I will add more tomorrow night showing what I have managed to do this weekend.
Completely off subject.
I tried to contact my engineer for the chassis/suspension inspection through the week, but sadly he is very sick at the moment and he will not be able to keep doing my car so I have contacted Darwin and they are going to advise me who can check it out.

Congratulations on your results, Jason. Great effort by Team Reptyl !
Bryan - OUCH !!! By the look of the roll cage, the car must have been a pretty serious racer. Does anyone have any "before" photos? Did the car have a lift-off front, or did it destroy that much bodywork?
Bernie mentioned the weather. Were you guys all out on the track in the rain? That must have been interesting...
