Bernie,

The cost of my Cobra and the fact I couldn't replace it is enough to keep me sane on the track... but accidents can happen.

I think track work is imperitive to learning how your Cobra reacts in various situations. I now know how it reacts in the wet ... scary..... I think Falkens could be worse than your TA's

Like most things done in moderation all should be well.

Peter,

Cruising is great, the reaction from people is amazing. Young guys just about fall out of there cars trying to look while giving the thumbs up... well i think it was their thumbs.

Best one on the way back from the Nationals was a very old Chinese couple crossing the road at the lights I had stopped at, the old guy gets half way across the crossing turns around and gives me the thumbs up... priceless.

Then at Maccas I was parked three cars down from a Porsche Turbo Convertable (serious mods) but what was everyone standing around... the Cobra.

I am surprised and delighted at the reactions.

My niece took a stack of video so I will try to get hold of that.

Sounds like there is going to be some great footage and still shots.

NASSTY,

Are you thinking about having a DVD with stills and video. Does that work or can that work??

Cheers

Bernie

Nassty,

Ive got a great way to finance you Video,
just wait for someone to send in some shots of me spinning at turn one at 200k's, then let me know.
I'll pay you not to put it in.

I've got some nice stills from last year. I'll send them on to you.

Thanks for the info on the yellow monster. I'm glad he emerged relatively unscathed. Race style cage, seat and harness combination was obviously a clever move - and to think those very same items would likely be illegal for street use ! Ladder bars on a Cobra are interesting. I thought my 4 link and full spool were stretching the boundaries of streetability, but ladder bars, big block and a liberty toploader..... Wow !

Default Video Footage

Al,

I have some video footage to get to you soon. Having some problems with the Canon camera playback to put on CD. Working on getting hold of another camera to try and hoping it has recorded OK.

I have the footage of the Reptyl in a "spin" and I just hope the recording is OK. (Take no bribes Al! reveal the truth!!)

Will post another thread when I have viewed the tape.

Cheers

Guy's, the more smoke, tyre marks and clouds of dust the better!

I think Reptyl's spin would make an excellent background for the DVD menu!

The plan is to collate footage for everyone including stills and video and then to create a highlight package with some backing music.

What about cobras running around the track to Jet's "Cold Hard B!tch"?

So the DVD will be a basic reference library of the Nat's with a highlight package thrown in.

Tony thanks for the video!

Anyone else?

The more the better!

Cheers

Good one Al Black Betty by spiderbait would be inspirational too. Specially if used behind the Reptyl spin

G'day Bryan

Great shot you've got there.

Would you like them to be on the DVD?

If so, would yo like to burn them onto CD and I could get them off you t the next meet or you could email me.

Cheers
