Great news its at CTC.

Will keep an eye for when you are there (25th or 26th) and drive across to CTC. What's another 2000 on the Cobra??...

Or is this a Dark Side II only meeting..

Bernie

Photos of the car look great.

You shouldn't have any problems with speed humps or tyre prices.

Cameron....

Very SLICK

When do the stripes go on?

And what about a few stickers on the side?

On a more serious note - what engine has it and any problems with importation etc?

Thats it - Will have to get to Sanctuary Cove, just that you don't take all the glory!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Talking P.S

If it, you were ready for the Sunday, Batman has organised a top little day cobra rally locally, where most of us nuts are attending.

See what you can do.

Thanks all...

Garrett, Bryan at CTC is picking me up from the airport, but I bet he won't be in the Cobra Thanks for the offer.

Bernie, it's a non-denominational outing

Reptyl, just think of the saving on brake pads

PCC, No Stripes, No stickers (yet), powered by the blue oval with extra shiny bits... should go well See you at Sanctuary Cove

I am in overnight, but will be tied down, I'm mixing pleasure with business... Sunday sounds like a lot of fun, but I will miss it. I'm doing the Indy Rally next week (should have been in the SPF ) , and will be inhaling fumes at the track on the weekend. Just to get in the mood for the quick drive home from VIC

I'm open on Tuesday morning, and will be up in town.

Hey Garrett

Just keep me "Posted" if you are driving down. I'll come over for the run and catch up with the boys at CTC. (Will park around corner)

The pool cleaner is Peta and I have not picked her up, so no problems...

Unhappy Rain Delays Play

At this rate, I'll be hoping to get the Cobra for christmas

I will not be coming down on Monday, as the car is not yet ready. We are hoping for Thursday, but the way this is going, I won't be holding my breath.

I will let you all know when I get a definite...

What's the hold up Cameron?

Not waiting for those stripes are you?

I don't suppose you'll be allowed to run round the Indy course in a Nissan

I was keen to take the Cobra along for the driver's parade until I found out that it would have cost me to do it!

At $270 per person - that would almost cover the cost of an aluminium radiator.

The problem has been in the Aussie Spec EFI. They had a dodgy computer glitch that took days to track down, then got sent another crap unit. We need this for rego. Then out it comes and the good stuff goes in.

This all delayed the final engineering and rego. I am aiming for a pickup Thursday PM or Friday AM....

Disclaimer - the above details are subject to change at the drop of a hat, and further reasons for delay may or may not be realated to those above. Prices, size, colour, type, model, shape & HP subject to change without notice....

(But seriously the CTC guys have been very good at keeping me informed, just the usual issues when doing these kids of things)

Default End of Thread

OK,

No pickup this week, and I will be travelling until the back half of November (at least)....

I will start another thread when delivery and pickup threatens. Hopefully I can catch up with some of the Southern members while I'm there.

Should have put a chev in and you would have had no probs...

Brian at CTC rang me as said there was a silver superformance he needed run in over the Melb cup weekend, so i'll let you know how its runs...

Seriously when your down try and make it 1st Thursday of the month and make it to our cobra meeting here, looking outside the weather is great NOT and we might move it to a BBQ location, as the evenings are getting longer.

Regards Garrett
