Talking It lives !!!!

Hi All,
well finally completed all electrical & engine harness wiring over the weekend. Sunday 5.30pm put 10litres of premium in tank and hit the go button. 4/5 rev's and she fires into life How goods this!!!! Then she stops dead. After much investigation the intank pump has **** its self. Replaced yesterday with a new one (should have used a new one in the first place) and it runs like dream. Cant tell you how good it feels to see the motor run after looking at it sitting in the car for so long. Not long now!

Top news Leeroy

Good to hear.

I'm finding too that second hand is not new.

After replacing my starter motor, alternator and battery with new bits mine's running like new and reliability is restored.

Recycling - bin the old one and buy new

Thanks all. The nationals sure have me fired up to extract the digit. Still got to do some final ass'y before engineering but hope it's in a couple of weeks time. I have underbody exhaust fitted at this stage but still any noise out of my motor sounds awesome to me. The Darkside strikes back!

Well done Leeroy, That's excellent news.

David's right about extracting digit. Hopefully we'll all have some new progress photos soon as evidence

Congratulations Leeroy,

Seems to me that you have to build these cars almost
like brand new - as many new parts as the budget will
allow,so as to eliminate any problems down the track.

Probably easier said than done.

Looking forward to the photo`s also.

Regards

Nick
