Talking There's a snake in my garage!

Research is on hold ..... but nor am I going to build (at least not yet)....

have purchased a vehicle - first registered 1988 - I am the third owner...

And I know it is not exactly what I envisaged, but it gets me on the road Plenty of work still to come..

Now the better half wants to go out for a run ....

Good for you!!! All the planning & dreaming is great, but plunking down the bux and filling your garage with a runner all in the same day is hard to beat!

Congratulations Ralph. Was the car already registered in ACT, or did you buy it from interstate?

I like "tinkering" and a well sorted out runner is a good way to go. May not be your ''Vision'' but it will be a heck of a lot of fun none the less
Have fun and be careful

Already in the ACT ... still some work to get through that rego check, but at least it does not need an engineers report this way.

uncltodd, PCC, Jase: Stripes are on BH's list (not blue) - somewhere in amongst the other tinkering...

But I bet you can't convert it to a gunrack ....

BH keeps wanting to show it off - it's frightening.... she rarely looks at cars....

Ralph-c

Don't challenge him to convert the bar..

Looks great. Tinkering will add your personal touch.

Looks like an RMC....

Peter 's got it, silver stripes with a 1/4" chaser on both sides.

Now that would add something to her. She's fine now, but two silver stripes with 1/4" small stripe next to each on the outside... thats a touch!!!

Nice car.

Question To stripe or not to stripe

trularin

...stripes make the body appear wider??

It made a difference when we were painting to see the effect of the stripes. I also put the fine line down each side.

Congratulations Ralph, I see you managed to wrestle it off Glenn, take much persuading? I think that woman's sent him soft.

Now you guys leave him alone about stripes, too many blue ones in Canberra already, can't have 'em all with with white stripes as well

Ralph, Oh my gawd! How do you drive that thing. I checked out your pictures and noticed that there's no steering wheel! Just kidding, I know about you guys driving on the wrong side of the road and all. No really, the car looks great!

looks great, Ralph!
But, regarding the stripes- you aren't allowed to add white stripes until you ask MY PERMISSION. Sorry, those are the rules, and if Bernie can follow them, then YOU CAN TOO!!!!

Now the idea of silver stripes with the 1/4" thin line sounds quite intriguing.......

Congratulations!!!

It takes bawls to put it on the track, tho'.... (don't ask....)
