Talking NO WORRIES THERE.....

I connected the side pipes before Chrissy for that authentic
Cobra sound.I am having them disconnected next Wednesday....
I lost too much power and it didn't sound loud enough......

So all the cobwebs will be gone by then.

One of the clauses in the deal with Rob is that I cannot take
it past 5000 RPM.Even taking it to 7000 I would never get close
to COBTHS pit bay...

Has anyone contacted the great man?? He hasnt been to Australia for a while...

Sponsor a trip out for him and his wife - there's an idea - good media coverage too.

I've got an even better idea, Lets not tell the great man anything at all about this event.
My pockets aren't deep enough to pay the royalties for the naming rights

Question Family?

Hey guys,

I was kind of hoping that my wife & kids would come along to the Shelby Festival with me and was just wondering how many others will be doing likewise? She's starting to say things like 'who else is taking their kids', 'it'll be boring if I have no-one to talk to' etc. I have a 10yo and a 6yo.

Cheers,
Adrian.

Wink

Now if I were to print this out and mail it to somewhere in SA then it might spoil someone else's weekend

But I wouldn't do that.

Seriously though, is that it ? - just Jasons wife & daughter

I'm gonna have a hard time selling this.

I am seriously considering the trip. If I do, my wife and two daughters will be there (6 & 3).

Unfortunately, I am at the whim of this global juggernaught and could well be sent up a Tibetan mountain just before the event.

like now for example... new car arrives on Friday, I get sent to Hong Kong on Saturday night...

So consider me a 'will if I can'

Scott's got a point.

I don't want to take away from the general Shelbyness of the the whole event but should we have an others class?

Cheers

Hey Mike maybe if your cobra is not ready you could bring along your XR8 ute for a shootout with Oz's ute!

Can I throw in my ute...

Would run it without the Cobra behind (in my gallery)..

Could do better than in the Cobra..

Cobra's, GT40's and Shelby Mustangs.

may have a few non Shelby racing Mustangs but no Utes.

What's the matter OZ the lil' ute not putting out enough ponies to pull a Cobra on a trailer?

Default Entries so far

Phil,

Not many entries so far. I guess many will come just before closing date. I think at last count I had 5 entries including yourself as the first interstate entry (in fact you were the second entry!) .

Just sent out another reminder to everyone that entries close in 3 1/2 weeks. We also have a meeting this week to give the VIC members a little jig along. Snaketales next week will also have the ad.

Cheers

TC

Talking more grunt than a policemans ball

It pulls the trailer just fine except that the cobra is for sale and one thing i dont want to do is race it when i need to sell it.

just one of lifes little twists

I think you should re concider no utes as i think you need as many paying entrants as posible to make the event a success .
As long as they are club members i dont see a problem with a few extra non cobras making it any less of an event.

I Lashed out to day and got another diff so i can boc loc it.

oz.

BZZZZZTTT!! BzZZZZZzz! Take that you spider gears! your days of spinning uselessly are over!

Ahh... brings back memories of welding up Holden banjo diff centers.

I was voting against an others class but the closer I get to the event with my Cobra still in bits the better it sounds.

Cheers

I will even supply some trophys for the others class as long as i dont have to take them home.

I was going to sponsor something anyway .

mike i hope you dont need the others class, work and stop trying to reinvent the wheel.

Get the dam thing finished then tinker with it.
