The cable style wiper motors definatly aren't to be found in abundance as they once were. If you get stuck for one try the pommie wreckers (excuse the description PCC) as a lot of vehicles had them, MGB, mini's, Austin 1800 & 1100's, Morris Marina's, maybe more. If your budget allows you can still by them new Europa spares UK or try the MG or Mini specialists.
Beware there is different throw lenghts (measured in degrees of angle) fitted to each of these cars, it is embossed into the driven gear in the wheel house of the wiper. This determines through what angle your wipers will sweep. The gears are interchangeable if you find a good motor with the wrong angle.
I think mines 120 degrees.
