Interesting pic. How is the Eaton blower driven?
I also would think that the Eaton would restrict the capabilities of the centrifugal blower at higher rpm.....

There is a gilmer drive at the back that on a shaft runnining along side the blower to the front. The shaft has a serpentine pulley at the front hooked into the regular accessory belt arrangement.
I guess it makes for easy overdrive ratio chages on the gilmer but maintains contact surface area on the serpentine belt at the other end.
I think the main reason for this setup is to keep the intake in the stock position.
Cheers

Thanks for the info! I still reckon It's two steps forward, one step back by using both blowers though....
Certainly looks unique though.

I agree, I think it's just a bit of a novelty. Something to impress people with when you pop the hood.
Cheers

The PSI blower was more along the lines of a T/F hemi than that for a Gen 3.
Mando, Darren is going to make a couple of calls tomorrow, but said a complete setup like you want should be no trouble.
He could probably install and set it up for you too.
I'll get back to you as soon as he gets back to me.

Gav - yeah, I know. How much is the asking price, and what parts are included? Which car did it come off?

Here's a similiar unit from Magna Charger for LS1 which I saw on their site. Claim added 130hp & 130ft-lb torque at rear wheels ! at around US$6000k & $7k for polished they sure look simple. Whats the catch fellas?? You going to the states anytime soon Mike?

That looks pretty much identacle to the PWR kit. It's an Eaton M112 twisted roots blower. I think you'll find the Harrop kit which is similar in execution is much cheaper than US$6K. The non intercooled kit is AU$5720 including GST
Here's tha harrop kit
Here's a link to the PWR setup: PWR LS1 Super Charger
Sorry to Hi Jack this thread fellas.
Cheers

Don't be sorry Mike...I think this is a very important tread to all the aussie cobraphiles.
What with Ford engines being so wide and unusable it doesn't leave many options.
Some folks may even consider the use of the LS1's as I did.
This thread is sooooo important in that it shows there are heaps of ways one can hide the fact that under all that shiny alum lives a chev.
Ooopsy...I better get back to work

750 HP,
DARREN DRIVES THE AUSTRALIAN NITRO RAIL FOR THE LAMMATINA FAMILY. HE HAS BEEN BUILDING CARS FOR THE LAMMATINA SONS FOR YEARS. IF YOU THINK THE RAIL IS TOUGH YOU WANT TO SEE THEIR NITROUS INJECTED 460 ci XW GT, THEIR FATHER HAS OWNED IT FROM NEW. IT IS VERY NICE.
MANDO, THE GUYS FROM DICK JOHNSONS SAID THEY USE 'YATES' HEADS WITH THEIR 302W INJECTION SET UP. EACH THROAT IS INDIVIDUALLY BOLTED TO THE HEADS WITH FOUR BOLTS. THE SETUP USES AN INDIVIDUAL VALLEY COVER.
THE SYSTEM USES A MOTEC MANAGMENT SYSTEM AND THE UNIT HE MENTIONED HAD DATA LOGGING ABILITY BUT FOR A STREETER YOU WILL PROBABLY NOT NEED IT.
THE INJECTION HARDWARE (NO HEADS) IS GOING TO COST $5-6000 AND THE MOTEC COMPUTER WAS ABOUT THE SAME SORT OF MONEY BUT FOR A SIMPLER UNIT WOULD BE LESS.
IF YOU ARE STILL KEEN THEY WILL FIND OUT MORE AND GIVE YOU AN EXACT PRICE.
EVERYTHING COULD BE FITTED AND SORTED UP HERE.
HOPE THIS HELPS YOU OUT.

Thanks Gav,
but Ive already got a pair of AFR heads from the states and Im going to run Motec M48 management.
What Im after is if anyone can put me onto some one else who deals with the injection setup posted at the start of this thread, or if someone can put me in touch with Paul Flemming or Peter Phelan. I tried Emailing Paul but havent had a reply at this stage.
Regards.

Mando,
Darren runs Morgan Performance ph 0350 220454. If you had something definite in mind he might know who to call. He and his cronies are to and from the states all the time buying bits and peices so it would be worth giving him a call.
Talk soon
Gav.
