Here you go Paul.
OZ wheels (02) 96066468.
Tis what we are all using. Choice of diameters and widths. Also welded centers or bolted centers.
Cheers

as Les says Oz wheels are used by lots. I had some made and they are a very nice wheel. Mine are bolt on but some of the guys (Mike & Phil) have the knockoff's. Speak to them about offsets etc. You can have centres painted in a colour you prefer also.

Hi Paul,
Have you decided what widths and offsets you are going to use.

Paul,
I am going to use the same rim sizes as you. This might help, I was at Warwick’s workshop a few weeks ago and measure the offset of wheels that were on a Cobra that was almost ready for registration.
The front rims where 9 inch with an offset of 25mm. The suspension on this cobra was not the latest setups that are used on yours and mine. The offset for the latest suspension could be different.
The rear rims where 9.5 inch with an offset of 65mm.

Python advertise halbrands, and will apparently do any offset required. Does anyone know where they get them from? Is it OZ? I found an OZ wheels website - http://www.ozwheels.com.au - different phone number, nothing about specials - is this the same company ('cause they are just up the road from me)?
Also, check http://www.roh.com.au and http://www.compomotive.com - both have diagrams about how to measure up wheel requirements.

Do the wheels supplied by OZ wheels or anyone else for that matter in Australia, come stamped with 'not for highway use'?

unpolished or painted?
Does anyone have painted centres, or are most of you just leaving them unpolished?
If they are painted, what type of paint do you use for touch-up (or if you paint them yourself)?
cheers.....

The Oz Wheels comewith powdercoated centers. A few of us have gone for clear powder coat. Phil has had his centers powder coated black. Garretts centers are powder coated a blue grey colour.

I just had a chat with them also Paul.
I've currently got their 15" bolt ons and am thinking of 17" knock offs.
They also make a knock off adaptor for porche cars and they are considering making them for cobras.
They are giving me a ring back if they are prepared to make em.
Much prefer to spend my money in aussie land. But will import the
adaptors if I go that way.
Cheers

Les,
I have a set of adapters I was going to use on the DAX... but now have no need. they come with some very pretty polished spinners.
PM if you're interested.

I bought my adaptors from CTC (Superformance). They were $1320 for the kit and came complete with spinners and drive pins. The kit comes drilled for Ford stud pattern but I re-drilled the fronts for Jag pattern and sleved the center bore on the rears to suit the XR8 axle center bore.
I'll be happy to re-drill and sleeve adaptors for others to any 5 stud hub at a very reasonable price.
Cheers
