Has anyone with a Classic Revival kit considered redrilling the fronts to suit the rear or visa versa? I have been pondering the idea and have wondered if anyone had done it yet.

I considered doing a space saving spare wheel for mine. I decided not to bother when I thought what do you then do with a 17x11" flat tyre? do you sit it on your wifes lap while you drive to the tyre shop? I figure a can of fixa flat or a tyre plug
kit and some CO2 cartridges would be a better option. Or even better an RACV membership and a mobile phone.
If you really want a spare just buy a dual bolt patern Weld racing drag lite rim. They are available in 15x6" and all you need to do is carry a set of 1/2" shouldered wheel nut to suit it. They are light weight and fairly compact and would fit in the boot OK. The only problem I see with it is the difference in center bore diameter between the Jag and Ford hubs. You could machine up a spacer ring to slip in for the smaller ford center bore.

Just been advised by ozwheel that they will manufacture knock off adaptors. They have been making them for porches for ages. Now available for cobras.
Just tell them what stud pattern and they'll make em.
I've been asked not to advertise the price quoted until they finalise pricing but I believe the price to be quite competitive.

Gee i think if the guys with Classic revival kits used the Knock off adaptors then put the wheel on they would have no offset left .

The adaptor only adds 10mm each side. The bolt on wheel centers have an aproximately 15-20mm thick raised section where they bolt to the hub. This is to make clearance between the wheel center and the brake calipers. With the knock off adaptor adding 10mm clearance you don't need this raised section so the back of the wheel center is machined almost flat.

You'll note that Craig's Classic has more dish on his front wheels than mine. Ian changed the design of the front suspension on Sloths and my car which came out after Craigs. He moved the suspension pivots further out to use a wheel with a smaller scuff radius.
I thnk Craig's is also the last car with floor mounted pedals. I kinda liked the floor mounted pedals.

Well...all you CR replica owners need do is convince ozwheels to make a flat spinner just for you fellas.
Us normal folk can still use the heavily dished spinners which hide inside the wheel.
Whichever way....Ozwheel is making the adaptors....so there

Hi All
Has anyone polished the centres of the ozwheel halibrand and if so how do they come up . I would want mine polished to within an inch of its life . If they cant be polished i will consider Alsa corps Chrome paint finish .

someone here might remember seeing in SnakeTales a new wheel manufacturer here in Melb, I cant recall details though. They do a Hailbrand replica which look very nice & in many sizes etc. Not sure price options but would certainly be worth a call to check. Someting like Millana ??? someone here help if they know

Purchased new wheels from OZ a couple of months ago - took a few weeks from order to completion (I picked them up, not delivered) but no issues (offsets, size etc. all as ordered).
Any one interested in a set of 16" ROH Monacos?

Millaz wheels do halibrands for a bit over 3g but they dont as yet do pin drives which is what im after but they do seem to be a good wheel
