Classic Revival LS1 Headers and Side Pipes
Hi All,
I had a bit of a rough couple of weeks with a dose of the flu and injuring my back last week end. The problem with that is it's given me too much time to think. Sitting and thinking or rather lying down and thinking has proven dangerous and an idea has been fermenting in my head.
This idea involves building a new exhaust system for the Cobra so I may have a set of headers and side pipes for sale soon. I was to sell the whole system what do you think they would be worth?
The headers are made from mandrel bends and are 1 7/8" primaries. The sidepipes are my rebuildable cat converter equipped units. There are plenty of pics in my gallery. The whole setup is brand new never run and only needs to be ceramic coated.
Cheers

Hey there Mike, as you know I am in the market for side pipes and Headers, so if you want to send me a pm with a price.
I also would like a second set of outer covers for the side pipes.

Top secret, can't tell you yet. let's just say that I'm working on a plan to try and catch Garrett.
I've been doing a bit of fabricating and welding today to see if the idea is feasable. Should have a couple of pictures soon.
Cheers

Thanks Gav, I'm much better today. A couple of physio sessions and some anti inflamatory pills seems to have done the trick. Just a few twinges today when working in the shed. This is the first day in probably 2 weeks I've been up to working out there.
Hmm, zoomies... Now thats an idea. 8 holes in the bonnet and the pipes coming straight up
Cheers

Yep, a big single turbo system something like the set up on Scotts car.
A turbo on the standard motor has some appeal over cam and heads etc since I should be able to keep my emissions legal and keep the noise down too.
I've knocked up some rough exhaust manifolds but I think that's as far as I'll go for the moment. I've got to keep my head down and concentrate on getting it on the road.
Stop dreaming and start driving...
Cheers

Catch Garrett? As much as I'm a fan of superchargers, with a turbo fitted to your car, I think it'll be Garrett doing the catching.....
I can definitely see my engine with a couple of turbos attached in the future. Maybe in something rear or mid-engined, like a Ford version of Cameron Parson's TT NSX. http://www.pim.net/21703jk31.jpg

Ooohh... Pantera
a family friend of ours has a GT5 Pantera which is the full house version with the Contach style wing and big flares. Cool car and corners like a slot car. Unfortunately I don't fit in it
Cheers
