Truth be told that manifold doesn't flow as well as the factory LS6 manifold.

The only real advantages it has (apart from the looks) is that it's easier to plumb for direct port nitrous and can be more easily ported to match the heads. This is a bit of a moot point though since the LS1 intake ports are huge and there's not much to be gained by making them bigger.

Fantasic. I think its every wifes fantasy to be taken to eastern creek on Mothers day whilst 8 months pregnant to watch a bunch of Cobra nuts layin down some rubber. At least thats the line Ill be spinning!!

That manifold was touted as being the ducks nuts at one point. Renowned corvette tuner Lingerfelter was endorsing them for a while but pulled his name off it when the results cam in.

The original manifold is made from a special kind ofheat resistant nylon.

I painted mine with wrinkle finish red paint made by VHT @ about $15 a can. It comes in black, grey or red.
