Bernies Headers
Here's a couple of pics of your modified headers Bernie.
A word of warning to anyone considering working on ceramic coated headers. This stuff is a bugger to remove and a sh!t to weld through. The aluminium in the coating reacts with your weld pool for some interesting results.
I had to slit Bernies headers near the flanges so I could move the pipes into the right positions for the new 4 hole flanges. Welding the slits back up was a pain in the butt because it's very difficult to remove the coating from in the corners and crevaces. It worked out in the end, just a lot more work than I expected.
They go off to HPC tomorrow to get re-coated.
Cheers

Mike does not need his Accountants advice just now...
stiffy,
..now I do not , I repeat do not need your input or advice to Mike on charging....
The deal has been done and he is more than happy to do the pipes for two 'McDonald Happy meals'.
So, lets just leave it at that..
I did have a late offer from another fabricator who was prepared to do them for one 'McDonald's Happy Meal' and a 'Coke', but I did the right thing and stuck with Mike's price...
After all, I'm a gentleman and would not think to jump to the cheaper price..
Thanks Mike for a job well done. The vouchers are in the mail to you..
Bernie

As long as there's a decent toy with the happy meal I'll be happy
Don't mention the nats.. I'm not listening, I'm not listening La! La! La! I'll go put my head back in the sand now and pretend I'll be ready.
Cheers

I think I will have the car running but most likely not registered.
Is there any room left in that bucket for my melon head?
