Bernie,
Thanks to you, Anne, and Todd for making the boys feel at home. They are going to remember this trip the rest of their lives. You are the best!

Wayne,

Mark & Matthew are great guys! Dad is very enthusiastically showing them all of the sights.

All the troops have headed off to Lorne for the day via Bells Beach and a few other places on the Great Ocean Road...

Last night we headed to the Victorian Cobra Car club meeting where the boys got to see a few Aussie cobra's and met some of the clubcobra guys.

After the meeting, although the guys were pretty tired we drove around the city and dad pointed out some of the hot spots with Mulv from Arizona also present.

We went to Federation Square and the Shrine of Remembrance

Tomorrow, I think we are heading to Queenscliffe then over to Sorrento on the ferry...

No doubt by the time they end up in Cairns, they will be ready for some R&R

Mark will send his pictures to you when he gets back today...

Todd,
Wow! Great places to visit, and Mark is very interested in art, so I know they are having the time of their lives, plus your Dad is a great guide. Look forward to seeing Mark's photos. Thanks also for your hanging out with them, as I know you are very busy with all you have going on with school and work. Thanks for responding and will chat with you later.

Hi Wayne

I have just jumped onto Todd's computer and site.

Yes, have had a good day and like the boys I'm feeling a little tired.

Met up with the MD of Quicksilver today and we were able to get some great photos down at bells beach - the boys with their surfoards about to hit the big waves.

Then took the boys over to meet with the owner of Rip Curls surfboards where they had a great tour and took more photos. The trip down the Ocean Road was very good as we were blessed with sunshine all day..

They have some great photos and information on an email that I think that they have sent out just a moment ago. There's a lot of discussion going on about photos and the things they want on the email. Keep an eye out for this.

Cheers

Bernie

We just got home at 3am! I took the boys to watch the Aussie Football League on the big screen at our local. Our home team (Geelong) went down to one of the worst team in the league, so we went out drinking... Mark & Matt tried their hardest to find some Aussie loving, but they were very disappointed that the mean age was 40 in the club we went...

Matt almost picked up a reporter from the local newspaper, Mark and I just surveyed the sights and had a few to drink.

We got home and everyone is wide awake here, haha!

Arrow Bernie hi - jacking Todds computer and the Thread

Hi to all in Indiana.

It's 10am here and not one under 25 year old to be seen. Hard night for them.

I think I go and start up the 'chainsaw' and 'ride on mower'..

Their to young to be up at this time of morning and I'm to old to be out partying until 3.00am. Although the club they went to appeals - with 40 something year old women there.

Guess its a timely warning to us older guys who think that we can keep up with them - other than on the track..

They have sent the detailed email and photos to you there..

Bernie

Hey Wayne

Well the boys had a great time in Sydney and Canberra. I have asked them to update the link above with photos.

I'll see you later in the month at Evansville. I head over tomorrow to LAX and then to Phoenix Az.

See there emails and links.

Cheers

Bernie

Hi Wayne

Well over here and literally cooking in 110f heat. Stepped out of the plane and into an oven..

Glad the GT40 has aircon..

Hersh has a BBQ organised for Sunday with all of the Arizona guys which I really appreciate.

Very little jetlag, but I think that was due to the Bourbon medication I took on Doctors advice.

The boys are being looked after back in Australia and I heard this morning that they are doing a main game of football and the night clubs later..

Bernie

On Hershal site....

Cheers

Bernie

We went to see BATMAN BEGINS Thursday - it wass awesome...

We went to the footy today and headed out on the town for Sean's going away party. Matt was pretty drunk and picked up some bird, Mark and I just cruised around. Good fun

Mark & Matt head to the Airport tomorrow for Cairns. ITs a shame Im so busy with work as I havent really ahd that much time to hang with them in the last few days...

Hey Todd,
I just left your dad at a car shows and what a pleasure to meet him in person. We have traded emails for some time but nice to just sit down and BS rather than wait for a reply over the net. Ya got a good old man so think you should keep him!
We have a BBQ set up for tomorrow at Hersh's home so look forward to that. I think he found several cars he liked at the car show. There were about 300 + cars in attendance.

Hello Todd,
I am sure he has a bunch of good shots. By the time he shows them to you a couple may be a little sticky from drooling on them but what the heck!
The Az crowd spent a great day @ Hersh's home on Sunday for a BBQ and a little bench racing. It was a nice send off for their trip and any excuse to see good friends works for me. Thanks Paula and Hersh

Talking Gone Mad

You'all Yanks are MAD

We've see that Bernie bloke drive and drive on the track, let alone stick the wheel on the opposite side and really confuse him.

Hang on i think he actually looks like he knows what hes doing in those pictures

May be thats it ? Todd get them to STOP the modifications to dads car while he is away and get them to put the wheel on the opposite side, and i think we will have solved his driving problem.
Oh how ya going to mount a Roo bar on a cobra though

Oh well one step at a time,
