Does anyone on the forum use Millaz wheels on their Cobra. I really like the look of them, however my judgement on other Cobra products of late has been poor to say the least.

Love to see some pics of peoples car who run these rims so I can get an idea what they look like.

They do look really good, however the last wheels I ordered from the USA are just to big. I am really worried about getting the wrong offset so I'll just have to wait and talk to DRB and see what they reckon.

All I know is I need wheels fast!

Default Vintage whee3l sizes

Blair If you call Bob Lacey at Vintage wheels he only asks for one measurement front wheel flange to wheel flange same on rear as he did for me, wheels fitted perfect and only took 4 days to get from the US.

Blair,
Try CTC they sell Hi-tech (WAW) Superformance wheels in 15" and 17". These are the only components available to Non SPF cars.

Yeah, Don at Snake Bite sells PS Engineering wheels I believe. Maybe not the cheapest wheels around, but they are a work of art. I've seen them in the flesh and they are amazing quality. But then again Don never accepts anything less.

Talking of 17" equipment, has anyone used 17" Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tyres. Not the Sport, the Sport CUP. They are reviewed well on Tirerack, though I'm not sure they're available here.

Default Not So Good

HI Richard,
I am not sure who but I think it was Ms Flatchat that has a set and was not to keen on there performance.

I think the term used was Pile of Crap!

There was a good thread on tyres not so long ago that would have been helpful.

Thanks

Phil

Philm has a good memory. Yep, Mr & Mrs Flatchat(Yve & Chris) have used them, along with just about every other brand out there. Not sure of what they thought of them though.

Hey, I'm going to run Michelin Pilot Sport(road version) on the GT40.

Richard, you can't go past new Toyo Proxies R888. Perfectly suited to the type of racing we do and best bang for buck. That's what my brother runs on the black Harrison. Significantly better than the old Proxies, which I think are now out of production.

OK fellas, I still have not decided on my 17 Halibrand replica wheels yet, however I have narrowed it down. I was wondering does anyone know who made Robnells wheels? Was it PS Engineering? If so does anyone have their contact details or a website I could investigate?

Thanks for your time again boys

If anyone has Snaketales June 2003, on the front cover is a Robnell and I think they are PS Engineering! If not someone correct me and please inform me 'what' they are.

Hi Blair,
I have just purchased a set of Millaz wheels and I am happy with the quality and look of the wheels. Mine are 17" x 8" and 17" x 9.5" wheels. The below links should take to the pictues in my gallery.

I just added a photo to my gallery called 'Nice Wheels Ugly Fella.JPG'. I really like the wheels on this car. Does anybody in Queensland know whose car this is or what rims they are?

The Hunt is ON.

Blair.

P.s> Will add lots more photos of Sanctuary Cove Sundays if anyone wants.
