How many starters for the Alice?
My better half has been quizzing me about the Alice trip lately. I'm still a starter: I should have got over the kangaroo nightmares by then.
How many of you other previously enthusiastic crazies are still interested? If we travel in convoy the sound of 10-20 cobras should scare all varmints back into their holes (I hope)

Sorry guys but I will not be able to afford the 2 weeks in August for the trip I would need. Going to QLD in June/July with family for 2 weeks and 1 week for Nationals.
It would really be a trip to remember I am sure especially once you hit the NT

Well guys I realise this has slipped through a little, and I guess I am to blame for that.
Being too busy with work commitments and coming to realise I will not have my car ready in time I have been down hearted about it lately.
I heard from the local Lambo guy and he told me the Ferrari boys will be in town on 18th August and staying only for the weekend. They are going to truck there cars in, fly out here then drive and fly home, cars returning on trucks later.
If anyone still is keen to come out , I am still keen to organise accomodation and stuff, also if I am advised early enough I may even fly to someone who is coming out so I can navigate.

love to but you'll have to count me out this year. About to start a new job in July and asking for time off a month later just ain't an option. Maybe next year. However, am a definate for the Sanctuary Cove meet in July.
See you all there?
Dave

I was a definite, but the relocation to China has thrown a spanner in that. Looks like there are a lot of Cobraphiles moving around in their professional lives. Must be something in the water

Without a decent show of hands, seems like the idea was never going to have a chance.
Still, it sounds like a good idea. Who's a starter for Alice 07?

Bernie.
The ferrari guys are going to be here on the 18th of August and staying for the weekend only.
So anywhere around that date is proabably a good time, but if people want to come out here just for a drive at any time, then I can help with that.
Also with the new house I have there are 4 spare bedrooms (as long as you are ok with our dogs being treated as kids and living in the house aswell) Then anyone is welcome to stay.
Garrett.
I can arrange form Adelaide up to Alice & back, as we now do have the transporter in service and carting vehicles, I will need to talk to the vehicle co-ordinator to see if he can arrange from Melbourne to Adelaide & return.
