Found an engineer
Lowbelly
Thanks for advice, contacted Edlemans and they were
very helpful.
No doubt this is one of many questions that I am going
to be asking.

I used Enkelmanns (not sure of spelling) in Braeside are these the same mob you are using? Colin Young was the guy but he has since left them. They were still great to go with and seem to have all the equip. to do all the testing inhouse. From memory it cost around $700 all up which I thought pretty good.
I included a complete booklet with my car at the time which covered all documentation on all items in respect to ADR compliance, Colin had said this saved them a lot of time and also saved them asking me many questions about ADR items on the vehicle. I would recommend this.

Leeroy,
Your spelling was right I was wrong. They are putting together a proposal for me. I have found them very helpful so far. Also I work in Braeside and live in Beaumaris so they are handy just to pop into if I need anything clarified.
I would like to see the booklet that you made, if it makes it easier and saves sometime with the RTA it will be worth doing.
Regards
Rod

I think it is worth doing and easy to start now and ad to it as you aquire parts etc. I also live in Beaumaris so more than happy to give you a copy for your reference and catchup.

Hi Leeroy,
I too am in the process of finding an engineer. My options are a little more limited being in the bush, but I've found a couple of names on the vicroad VASS list who might be able to help me.
It sounds like this booklet is a brilliant idea. If possible I would also like to see the format/content etc.

Sounds like you need to patent your booklet. Or should we just call it Leeroy's little black book.
I would appreciate catching up and having a look. You can't be to far from me since Beaumaris is such a large suburb. We are not far from the primary school

The document I put together is a cover sheet (word.doc) which inc. all details of vehicle & items used then the balance is receipts, documents, test data, approval numbers etc. supplied with all the items which makeup the build which req'd ADR compliance. Such as ADR details on Torsional tests etc., seats, lights, engine receipt, exhaust etc.
Therefore I cannot email entire booklet. I can email the word.doc (pdf) which will serve as a good guide and cover sheet, all you will need to add is copies of ADR type items you purchase along the way.
I'll try and attach the pdf file of the the cover sheet

Thanks Leeroy/LoBelly for making this info available,
I can certainly see how this type of info would make the engineer's job a little easier.
